Description: The project, financed by the POC of the Veneto Region 2014-2020 and implemented under the direction and coordination of the District, developed an organic and strategic internationalisation initiative aimed at activating new relationships in markets and structuring and implementing initially precarious relationships in historical markets.
The interventions involved a series of specialised consultancies whose objectives were:
- Providing companies with a stable business organisation in the commercial sphere, with the creation of a correct and modern marketing apparatus;
- Focusing the 'Furniture of Verona' brand in a territorial perspective that, in addition to benefiting the companies that took part in the call for tenders, also served to give prominence to smaller companies in the District, drawing worldwide attention to Verona as the land of wood and wooden furniture;
- Creation of a common e-commerce serving as a showcase for the companies' products under the common banner of the 'Lignum' logo;
- Effective presence at international trade fairs in the sector in order to maximise output from participation in them;
- Increased incoming to the area (a theme on which the district has already been working for years) in order to enhance and spread the district's image in the world.
